Pin Keep aka Pin Cushion

Today I asked myself, "What goes better with a Needle Keep than a Pin Keep?"  Since I need one for myself anyway, I decided to make two; one for me and one to sell.

I hope you’re having a great day so far because I am! The weather is mild and the windows are open letting a light breeze blow away the stagnant winter indoor air.  It smells so good!

I was able to get some more done on some of my projects.

Seed Box

Am I the only one who goes online to find graphics for a project and get lost in the  images to the point that you lose track of time?  I swear I’ve been trying to get images for an old seed box that I planned on “fixing up” for weeks! It turns out the box alone is worth close to $50 brand new and I only paid $4 at Goodwill!  Woohoo!

So it’s from Shakers Genuine Garden Seeds and they still sell them based on the vintage boxes they used to make back in the day.

So once I figured out it was a real company that is still in business I went searching for what their seed packets look like. Turns out they are very easy to duplicate. Here is an example:

Baby Bed Progress

WOW! I am SO sorry I haven’t posted in awhile. Especially since I just started this! But we went out of town for a few days plus Sweetie is off work for 12 days so he’s been keeping me pretty busy. Spending time with the one you love has to come first I think. J 

Anyway, I haven’t gotten a lot done but I did do some work on the baby bed and I hope to get more done today so that I can post it tomorrow.
